CELEBRATING 135
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF PARIS
The staff of the
Paris Fire Department is celebrating 135 years of service to the City
of Paris
and it’s citizens.
In 1875 the city
fathers voted to staff a full time department consisting of two firemen
in addition to the volunteer
force that had
been serving the city since 1810.
